Monthly Musings: September 2019
September is here and I’m so happy! This is our busiest month at work and I’m excited to see a lot of hard work and planning come to fruition later this month. If you have positive vibes to share or would be willing to say a prayer that everything goes smoothly, it would be greatly appreciated!
Here are some things I’ve found that are keeping me inspired this month:
I’m not a big breakfast eater, which is really bad, but these breakfast sandwich recipes may convert me because they look delicious!
Have you ever asked yourself if you’re pursuing your dream or someone else’s? This article helps put it in perspective if you’re questioning the reason behind your purpose.
I love this read from the Skimm about creating a zen space in your office or cubical. Definitely some things I’m going to try as we head into September.
Bookmarking this piece from Self about what registered dietitians eat when they travel!
I saw a promoted post on Instagram last week from Jefferson Bethke about his new book called To Hell with the Hustle: Reclaiming Your Life in an Overworked, Overspent and Overconnected World and I’m greatly intrigued to read it!
The Everygirl shared this article about how working retail can assist you in your next job interview. I’ve never worked retail before, but I know a lot of women did in high school, college or on the weekends and wanted to share!
It’s a little ways off, but if you’re local to the midlands of South Carolina, save the date for the Chapin Band Holiday Market, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Chapin High School. I will be selling handmade gifts and decor from my Etsy shop and they’ll have A TON of other vendors too.
