3 Marketing & PR Email Lists You Need
Hi there! Welcome back to the blog!!
One of the most important aspects of building your education and developing your career is finding free content that is meaningful but that will help you do your job better! My day-job is combination customer service, public relations, content creation and many other things, so I’m always trying to stay aware of the latest trends.
Emails lists and newsletters are often a double-edged sword (as someone who creates content for multiple newsletters and receives MANY in my inbox, I understand both sides), but I wanted to share the three that I swear by and open ASAP when I receive them!
American Marketing Association - One of the best things about signing up for one of AMA’s newsletters is you can do so without being a paid member in the Association, so you get access to some really great articles and webinars without paying full price. (If your position is solely marketing, I would encourage you to work a paid membership into your professional development plan with your supervisor.) They also have a lot of free resources on their website too, so if you don’t want to clutter your inbox, you can access those posts online.
PR Couture - This is a very niche newsletter geared towards lifestyle, beauty and fashion public relations firms, but the advice and content information they share is really inspiring and helpful no matter where you work in public relations or marketing. They provide some really great insights on career growth too!
Rising Tide Society - This newsletter is also pretty niche, geared more towards entrepreneurs, but the content is so accessible whether you work in the public or private sector or work in an office of 35 vs. 2. The team at Rising Tide Society sends out an exclusive download every month on a different topic - building good client relationships, Pinterest for business, general business planning … overall, just really great content that can help out any marketing or public relations student or professional!
So, run don’t walk to sign up for these email lists today and you won’t be disappointed! Is there a newsletter that you live by? Share in the comments so we can sign up too!!
